We have been toying with the idea of a family-geared summer run for a few years. The idea was to have shorter days in the dirt and highway transitions with more rest days to make it more enjoyable for people who want their entire family to experience the amazing Baja Peninsula!

2024 Baja Family Run: July 10-20

The family-run will start with a two-day transit from the border to Loreto in Baja California Sur, with a few beach stops along the way. From there our first rest day, where we will go to one of the most beautiful remote beaches you will ever see, then a short dirt day through the Mission San Javier to San Juanico, a small surf village on the Pacific coast where surf lessons will be available. We head out to La Paz on day 6, (see background pic for all you need to know about day 6). Day 7 we have a short dirt day to another empty beach outside of Los Barriles, Day 8 is another rest day, we will explore waterfalls, swim in a beachfront pool on the east cape and in general have too much fun! Day 9 we have a highway transit back to San Juanico, Day 10 we will make our way to Bahia De Los Angeles, and finally day 11 we head back to the US. The trip is $9000 for a family of four sharing one room. Additional children sharing the same room are $500, additional rooms are $4000

Cost:  $9000 per truck (two people)*
Deposit: $3000* NON-REFUNDABLE 15 days after the deposit is made.
Additional Rooms/Passengers: $2000
Spots Available: 10 for each trip

*Deposits are refundable for 10 days after making them, or 60 days before the trip, whichever comes first. Payment in full is due 60 days before departure or the spot will be forfeited, final payment is non-refundable/cannot be applied towards a future trip. We have to pay in advance for hotels and meals and request that the commitments made by our participants reflect the expenditures we take.
